James P Rines Jr

James Perley Rines, Jr. (1930 - 2005) was born in Templeton, MA.

He was the son of the late James Perley Rines, Sr. and the late Dora Ernestine Burnap Rines. He was married June 6, 1951 to the late English Elaine York Rines where they resided in Statesville, NC.

He grew up in the Fitchburg-Leominster, MA area and graduated from Leominster High School. He received a bachelors degree in liberal arts and theology from Gods Bible School and Missionary Training School in Cincinnati, Ohio, where he attended from 1947 to 1951; a bachelors degree in English and social studies from Lenoir-Rhyne College, Hickory, NC (1955); and a masters degree in educational administration from Appalachian State University, Boone, NC (1965).

Mr. Rines was a preacher of the Word of God from 1950 - 2005 on the Sheepfood Gospel Broadcast, ending on WAGI radio, Gaffney, SC.

He was a teacher-principal in the NC public school system at Stony Point High School (1955 - 1957), Mt. Mourne Elementary School (1957 - 1966), Sherrills Ford Elementary School (1967 - 1976), Charles H. Tuttle Middle School (1976 - 1982), and Valleydale School (1984 - 1985).
